Freshman Barnett having 'tremendous camp' for Vols

Rucker said that Young is a sub/low 4.4 guy. I think he's more like McCluster shifty and quick but top end speed isn't great. McCluster ran a 4.6 and that's what I'd say Young is. If he was a 4.4 guy then the fastest DE we've seen in decades couldn't catch him (Clowney 4.56) and I dont think Barnett is that freakishly fast. 4.6 is still very fast.
Hard time believing that mccluster ran a 4.6. He is faster than that.

Ran down Devrin (had the steam and desire to anyway), all I need to hear. This team and culture is different. If a few key pieces fall into place, we keep improving and keep this '15 class we are assembling, I am serious that there is not gonna be a single SEC team that will want to play us next year. Book it.

Hate to say this but DY is no where near as elusive as McCluster. I've never seen DY come close to what McCluster did to us in 2009. He mauled us.

I almost punched a old lady leaving Oxford for running her lip after the game...You know the 50 year great great grandmother wearing a belly shirt and tat on lower back...

Glad he is doing well. He played like he was pissed at BA last year. He brings the nasty attitude we need. Go Vols!!

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. I just keep thinking of a giant muffin top

Derek Barnett is a hoss! I have watched all his film and can tell this kid is a player. But then again, those that choose to tear down kids that actually play for UT, please feel free to tear down. Derek, keep it up buddy!

I don't get it with D Young. All you ever hear about is his speed but personally I can't really recall ever seeing him run in a game and thinking "wow he's got another gear".

My memories of him so far only consist of watching him catch a punt and then hop around like a chicken on a hot plate waiting for something to open up.

I'm pulling for him as with all vols. I just hope he finally turns the corner and takes that straight line speed and applies it to football.
Another X factor that is not being discussed is fatigue. If DY had been part of 20+ reps and it was DB 1st, that makes a difference. With that being said however the addition of team speed on the defensive side is one of the things that excite me the most.
