Sounds like the anti-BHH!
I’m pretty sure Shaq was the last thing he thought he was. Dude thought he was 6’10” Kyrie.I hope. What the heck happened to him. I was VERY excited to see him develop this year. I noticed that all FF teams had a big like him to get there. Was disappointed that he left. But, if he thinks he is Shaq #2 and should have been a O&D, then don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya. Pumped @ Aidoo too. Would have loved to see them both tho.

Sorry to dilute the purity here. But, never heard the lowdown on why BHH left yet another team.
To add to this, he was being pushed to leave by those around him, primarily his mother, IIRC. BHH, by some accounts, didn't want to leave if the decision were left up to him, entirely. @Stoerner Fumbles can confirm/deny that, but that seems to be what I remember. It’s got nothing to do with keeping things pure. It’s just we can’t seem to move past BHH. His name pops up everywhere.
To answer your question though, he left here because his vision for his game was a lot different than what Barnes had in mind. He wants to be more of a big guard than a traditional power forward. He also apparently didn’t want to put the work in according to rumors and was demanding minutes. Take it as you will. That’s just the rumor.
Accurate. He wasn’t a perfect citizen, but without meddling I think he would’ve stayed. He started to do well in practice playing in the system, and developed some strong bonds on the team. So many of these kids get bad advice from grabby people in their circle. Sometimes an eighteen year-old needs boundaries and structure to grow up. Ironic when it’s the parents who steal that opportunity. To add to this, he was being pushed to leave by those around him, primarily his mother, IIRC. Just to redirect the spotlight to Phillips— He’s going to contribute a great deal early if reports are accurate. I’ve never heard CRB speak this highly about a freshman. The kid is putting in the work, and he’s a real deal NBA talent. He’s been running the break and our scoring productivity is soaring. He’s stellar whether he passes, shoots, or drives. I can’t wait to see him play live on this team.Accurate. He wasn’t a perfect citizen, but without meddling I think he would’ve stayed. Did you hear what CRB said about KC a year ago?Just to redirect the spotlight to Phillips— He’s going to contribute a great deal early if reports are accurate. He was pretty glowing in his preseason comments of KC also
