I will have to agree with that, it's not the norm.He did do a good job. But when talking about freshman QBs, they rarely succeed. And it's even more rare that they succeed early in the season. So when people talk about freshman not being able to play year 1, that's what they mean.
Reed has had 4+ months of preparation and doing this day in and day out. Credit to him for playing well, but this isn't the norm.
