Very lucky that Rice didn't give up him around 2011 when several wanted him gone. About to be 25-15 over his last three years. Also one of the most charismatic coaches out there.

Tim DeRuyter should've left Fresno when he had the chance in 2012 (Cal) and 2013 (USC, albeit a Plan B guy). Still not convinced he isn't doing what he's doing with Pat Hill's players.

The NCAA can give you special permission if you lose a championship game and have 6 wins. GT went to the Sun Bowl in 2012 with a 6-7 record and beat a 7-5 USC team 16-7.

I'm 8-1 on my bowl pickem. Only wrong one was the Bowling Green/South Alabama game. And South Alabama had plenty of chances in that one
