At 5:00 every Friday back in the early to mid 80's, 103 KDF radio station did a succession of "It's Friday" themed clips and songs. Party town by Glenn Frey, Shanty, Shout and others including that I'm Miserable right.

Then they'd play 3 back to back jamming tunes that were new to a couple years old that are considered classics now.

Rock 103 would do Everybody’s Working for the Weekend, Rainy Day Woman and Sex and Drugs and Rock-N-Roll.
