People have told me in the past how different the love is from having you’re own children, no one knows until they do. My birthday is August 23, feel free to use that one. , I have no use for it. It’s served its purpose when I turned 16, 18 and 21. . I am one of the most distracted people you’ll ever meet and don’t keep up. mom okay?

Get your wife to take a picture or video of the first time you see and hold your grandchild. Totally different feeling. I cried like a baby, if I wasn’t so embarrassed, I’d post a picture of that moment, but I’m not the most photogenic person and I won’t unleash that image on any of you. Hope we see pictures.

I think when you’re parents, you stay so tired all the time, you really don’t get to really stop and enjoy each moment and milestone. With grandchildren, you get to sit back, watch and enjoy.

We were in Kentucky years ago, my oldest was probably 3, and she threw a pair of scissors. I spanked her, and my mom said, "don't spank that baby for that". I was like, you beat me for less!! Grandparents are definitely different!
