made fajitas on the Blackstone tonight. Watching some football on TV. Tomorrow we are picking up the grandkids and driving to k-town for the game. I am sorry I missed the "dark mode" game last week. the video's I have seen of the pre-grame were amazing.

I absolutely love my Blackstone. And fajitas are a good choice.
My brother in law impressed me with his Blackstone earlier in the year so my wife bought a Camp Chef for me on my birthday after doing a lot of research. We’ve used it a ton. If your Blackstone ever needs replacing, try the Camp Chef. It’s one of the few griddles that has a heavy enough lid to close it while it’s cooking (without warping the lid), which comes in handy sometimes when the weather is unpredictable. I used it a couple nights ago to cook while it was sprinkling off and on. It kept the cooking surface from getting wet.

Hanging with the wife and pups in the camper at Huntington Beach State Park. Beautiful night on the beach. Running the 31st Annual Turtle Strut 8K in the morning then hitting some cool bars in Pawleys Island before I settle in to watch the Vols deliver a beat down on the cowbells.
Dang, I was just there yesterday! Huntington is probably my favorite state park in SC.

Baby boys 2nd bday today. Smoking a Thicc butt. Be on it all night. Discovery museum in the mornin and back home to eat and prepare for a beat down
“Be on it all night” as in you’ve gotta replenish the wood in the smoker, or just that you’ll put the pork on the smoker and it’ll be on there all night? If it’s the first, I tip my hat to you, but either way sounds like a fine day you’ve got planned out.

Busy afternoon and evening. Lol. Sorry. This can be it.

What’s everyone’s plans for the weekend? I’m out having a little pregame night before dinner.

Any other good games you guys are looking forward to?

Watched Kansas squeak past North Carolina in basketball.

Hanging sheetrock in my garage. That's the easy part. Tomorrow I start taping and mudding. I hate taping and mudding.

Doing school work 🤮 (MBA @ LSU)*.

Was going to go to game, but kids were busy. Sold tickets. Kids no longer busy (It works out because of school but still).

*I got accepted to UT and will start in January.
I might be joining you! Applying to UT's program next week. After more than 9 years I feel like it's time to be back in Murica.

As for tonight, I'm out enjoying some nice beer. Going to a friend's housewarming around lunch tomorrow, but since the game starts at 9AM due to the time difference I expect the matter to be settled by lunch.

But if all our other SEC games are any indication, I will probably be glued to my phone for the duration of the 4th quarter.

Stoking the coals and replenishing. Gives me a good excuse to drink a few more beverages. Not that I needed one lol

I'm at my nephew's high school playoff game, he's in the 8th grade but got added to the high school team after his season. They're #1 in Alabama 5A, it's where Jourdan Thomas went to school, Montgomery Catholic. He's #20View attachment 695566
My local 5A team (Northside, near Tuscaloosa) traveled to Mobile for the playoffs and got crushed (as did Sipsey Valley). Good Luck!! GBO 🍊🍊🍊

The husband and I went to the Linkin Park concert last night. We saw them while we were living in China 15 years ago and they have been a favorite of mine since then. Today we are doing some chores around the house, burning some great steaks, and watching the game. Tomorrow we are going to the Cowboys/Eagles game. Should be a decisive Eagles win, even here in Cowboy country.
