Hat, what about Bradshaw dunking earlier tonight? I never thought I'd hear about that. He had a decent line, though it was against poor competition. Still not a stalwart by any stretch of the imagination, but a good "intangibles" guy.
Also still not a point guard. Seriously, he's worked hard on his conditioning. It's paying off with increased athleticism.

Right now it would be tough, but it would be a learning experience.

While he isn't a PG, he does have to run the offense alot still. Smith and Johnson are having growing pains and Howell is hurt.

Timmy Crowell is doing well at UC.

I wanted Crowell, but I also wanted Smith. Tough call, but it was Pearl's. I'll give Ramar a little more time before I give up on him.

Oh, I agree Pearl made the right call. I was just pointing out that the other guy we were evaluating in the spring is doing OK.

It definitely would have been nice to have landed both. Who are we looking at for our 3rd scholly for this coming class? Or will we hold it for the next, since we seem to have a good shot with alot of studs then?

There are a bunch of JC guys they're going to evaluate as the season progresses. Someone would really have to wow them to get the staff to cut loose with a scholarship. The plan is to sign an absolute monster class next year.

I've heard about us looking at JUCO PFs. Who are we hard on for next year as of now? We already have Passley. I know we are looking at McMasters, Juric, Osby, Aminu, who else? Sucks that MSU landed Hopson, though.

I wouldn't say they're seriously considering any one player at this time. They'll let the season play out and see if anyone really develops. This may sound very general, but you can add any big time player in the Midwest to that list for next year. Coach Pearl senses an opportunity, with Indiana hiring a mental midget and Bruce Webber simply being an average recruiter. Tom Izzo and Thad Matta are the only Big 10 coaches who can hang with Pearl on the recruiting trail. Matt Painter might get there, but he doesn't have the cache yet. CBP also sees Cincinnati being in flux as an opportunity.

I've heard we are looking at Dustin Scott, who is ranked as the #1 JUCO by JUCOJunction.
I'd bet Leonard Hamilton will be all over Scott, given that he's attending JC in Tallahassee. Depending on his scholarship situation, I'd also be surprised if Huggs doesn't at least take a long look.

He would be a nice addition. I still think it will be tough next year at the post since we will have only 3 returning and one coming in that is overweight.

I can't get away for it. I wish I could. We had a great time going to the two games in Nashville.

I sure the atmosphere will be a whole lot better in the Garden than it is was with the crowds of 3100+ & 3500+ at the GEC.
