I always used to make a comment on every landing whether the pilot was in the Navy or Air Force by how hard the landing was. The slam dunks were Navy and the floaters were Air Force.

The difference between learning to land on a small floating strip in the ocean and a nice wide runway in an airfield gets pretty obvious there.

Some could be helpful (youth development, training) other is a liberal pipedream like assuming guaranteed income will stop crime. All of it is ripe for political favoritism in deployment through various "programs".

Guaranteed income?...... I wonder how that money will be spent?
