Nice post...I hope you visited Knoxville 9 years ago? I was in Norman 10 years ago...and in Knoxville 9 years ago...and watched this azz-hat strut after a game you BARELY won...

My only discrepancy with the above is...you a DREAMIN' thinkin' the Sooners are gonna score 24 points...

oh...and...

i dont think they will score that much either. Our D, unheralded as it is, has not given up a offensive touchdown since last year. Our LB's will track the scrambling QB.

You may be right . jackson Arnold scrambling is more to escape being sacked and panic . He has been a disappointment so far . OU fans are disappointed so far with his play , OL issues notwithstanding. He misses many open receivers and panics under pressure. OU’s only chance is the defensive turnovers making a difference or the running game coming alive .

I live in Dallas and Texans and Oklahomans are some of the nicest people I've met. Everyone seems to want to see a good game and enjoy the SEC rivalries. I'm taking my two girls up to watch the game today and can't wait.

OU Fan here. Looking for a great game this Saturday.
I wanted to let Vols fans know that OU fans LOVE Josh Heupel. He will receive a very warm welcome, and so will the Vols fans coming to Norman. OU fans are very freindly and respect Tennessee as a premier program and university. Should be a great atmosphere.

If OU has to lose to a team , losing to Josh and Tennessee is fathomable for many OU fans like me. The bitter taste of Heupel being let go by stoops and the lincoln riley experiment has exacerbated what a mistake bob stoops made. You are lucky to have Josh. I root for the vols all the time when they play Bama , Georgia and the others.

Now back to the game.
The Vols have the better team , period. OU's defense is the highlight and will pressure Nico for a while , but will get tired by the second half as the offense is still at a rebuilding stage. The offense cannot run or sustain drives.
The QB, Jackson Arnold has been a disappointment !! As a 5 star signee ,with all the hype and the NIL money , he has not delivered or progressed as planned. Many including myself think OU made a mistake letting dillon gabriel go to oregon and starting Jackson Arnold. I think the Vols defense will feast on Jackson Arnold. His running won't beat a vaunted defense like Tennessee. Jackson Arnold may not finish the game as the QB.

I am expecting a Tennesse win around 35- 24

Please beat Alabama and Georgia next and win it all !!

Best of luck and enjoy the game and Norman .
Everyone is naive if you don't think Heupel is going to keep his foot on the gas until the clock hits 0 in the fourth quarter after being fired instead of Bob's brother. If he can score 60, he will. Lol

That OU 2014 offense scored plenty of points to win every game. The defense was the problem, it couldn't stop a paper bag but Bob let Heupel fall on the sword.

I’ve heard the Sooners are definitely the most respectful fan base. That’s a lot to be proud of in a day and age where even a lot of older people don’t display much class anymore.

Very kind of you . Looking forward

I’ll say what many of my geriatric brothers are not saying and please know it isn’t at all personal: Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M and, for that matter, Missouri, have absolutely no business being in the Southeastern Conference. But we’ll play anyone who’s in our way on the road to championships. No disrespect, friend.

Say what you want about OU on the field, but off the field their fans are nothing but respectful. The campus is clean, welcoming, and feels safe. Same cannot be said of some other SEC schools.

Never going back to Gainesville after repeat trips there. Still the only place in the SEC I have visited where I have seen fans get in physical altercations inside and outside the stadium. Even fans of the same team!

This is complete nonsense.

Right. Look at a map and the lights might come on for you.

Look at the calendar and perhaps they come on for you. The regional affiliation of a conference name does not actually provide real geographical boundaries. It’s 2024 and guess what…we have moved to super conferences. Enjoy your day.
