From Weakness to Strength, OL (Long)

Your obsession with hating on Fulmer and celebrating Hamilton is at least consistent; too bad your facts and arguments lack that consistency. So undersized backups are better "SEC lineman" than NFL lineman, eh?

Fulmer OL
OT Chris Scott -- NFL
OG McClendon - NFL
OT Douglas -- All-SEC Freshman
OT Thomas -- our best lineman currently
OG Schofield -- starter

That doesn't count the guys that got injured (McNeil & Richard) or the guys lost in the multiple transitions. That easily equals the guys added in 09-10 by Kiffin (Fulton & James) or Dooley so far (Stone). The rest are all unproven at the current juncture.

Chris Scott was an embarrassment prior to the staff change. McClendon wasn't too great, either. Douglas would be second string TE. Thomas is in no way our best OL. He and Jarrod Shaw are getting badly outplayed by freshmen.

ya, Kiffen like Pair a lot, especially after he was a top performer at Kiffen's camp. That's why Stone wasn't going to sign with Kiffen, Pair did better than Stone, and Kiffen & Co. wasn't shy about hurting Stone's feeling, and letting him know that Pair was better......

That was then, and this is now; so, I guess Stone has progressed better that Pair since then?

The SEC coaches disagreed with you. They put Scott & McClendon on All-SEC teams prior to the 2009 season starting; Douglas was always projected as a tackle once he added the weight; and the staff disagrees with you about Thomas (which is why he has played LT all year not anyone else). But all the coaches are probably all wrong and the Fulmer-hater kid fan right.

LT is the most difficult position to play on the OL. Playing it does not mean you are the best OL on the team. Great news about Scott. He made a team that Stephen Garcia and Mike Hartline also made after their stellar 2008 seasons. Clearly he deserved it after doing such a phenomenal job opening holes for those two NFL backs he had behind him.

And it's Dr. Fulmer-hater, chump.
