FSU a lot like us...

Both programs were very prestigous stuck in a little rut... FSU is like the new pretty girl at school. Shes fun, exciting, and you're curious. They are going to bring in a dynamite staff like ours, and a lot of these kids when they were younger saw FSU dominate. As much as I hate to say it FSU will be back like we are. Hopefully they will bring some life into that mid major conferecne we call the ACC but these next two months I'm expecting results like we got in our last 2 months last year.

Seriously is this Florida State recruiting now? I thought I logged on to Vol Nation. I couldn't give two craps about FSU recruiting.

FSU is stuck in a rut. UT is not. No comparison.

programs go throught this..alabama was 6-6 not too long ago...my canes are going through but they are going up again(i hope)..the voles and noles will be top programs soon..

this is a good thing.... it weakens the gators recruiting prowess... which is good for us BTW.

^^those are the same guys that will bring FSU back, we could have a top 5 class this year....What ya'll dont get is that the HC isnt as important as the coaching staff as a whole and Mack Brown is a perfect example of this. Jimbo has hit a homerun on his hirings thus far with Stoops, Hudson, Gran (which i know is sore for ya'll), and a couple years ago with Trickett. FSU is in the center of elite HS football talent and though Jimbo may not be the best HC he is great at getting kids to buy into whats going on.

Yea, when I think of big time assistant coaches, those are the guys I think of lol. Gran is the only one who has ever did anything, and he has never made it past RB coach. Let's see how these guys do on the field and gain some accomplishments before we say he hit a "homerun" with guys from powerhouses like Arizona St. and East Carolina...

Talent is not the problem at FSU. They are LOADED year in and year out with big time talent but always underachieve. The coaching has to get better or FSU will keep getting dominated by the Wake Forest's of the world...

Stoops resume speaks for itself, he is a great DB's coach there is no debating that and with Joyner and Reid he will be able to bring them to another level. Hudson was a DC, and is now our LB coach and is a MAJOR upgrade from Chuck "the chest". Trickett is one of the best O-line coaches in the country so i dont know how this is funny but will c. Done debating this its a waste of time, hope both our programs turn it around.

lol yea Stoops resume is legit. Big time. East Carolina dude is awesome in D3 or whatever that is. All I'm saying is, let's see how they do at FSU before you say Gumbo hit a "homerun" with these random dudes...

Trickett is a very good coach though...

I'm not so sure it is good for Tennessee if FSU and Miami become good again. I know there is a lot of talent in Florida but that just makes it a little harder to get the players CLK wants. They might weaken the Gators a bit but I think Tennessee can take care of them without the help of other programs.

I believe Tennessee has a better head coach, coaching staff and runs a better offense than Florida. The only thing missing is the depth and talent in a few areas. Imagine what Monte and Lane could do with equal talent.

The Vols are out of their rut. Is FSU? Jimbo Fisher was running things last year, I don't care what anyone says. Did Bobby Bowden even wear a headset last year?

My point is, what you saw last year is the FSU you will see next year.
