FSU is just the hot name out their this time this year like ours was this time last year... We are both rebuilding and we are a year ahead of them in that process. Granite Next year our schedule is stacked and they play in the ACC so theres a good chance they will have a better record than us. All in all when I made this thread I was just comparing their situation this years to ours of last

You can compare them quite abit in terms of us last year to them this year. Both get brand new coaching staffs and hit the ground running recruiting wise(whether Joyner etc. loved FSU or not they weren't going to go there), but it is still up to the coaches to turn potential into talent and it tkaes 4 years to realise whether or not they are.

As a rival to both schools, I have to say I am more worried about UT. Jimbo has never proved he can coach when in 06 he had something like 5 1st rounders on offense but it was ranked 60th. Monte is the one I believe everyone at UF is most worried about. One of the best defensive minds in football history IMO.

1.) 5 First Rounders on O lol!! WTF are you smokin, Jimbo took over an offense that was run into the ground by Jeff Bowden and is just now starting to turn it around.

2.) The records from 2002-09 dont lie, and would have to agree with the OP:
FSU: 65-38
UT: 64-37 (missed 2 bowl games/had 2 losing season)

i like bert reed..good player..and fortson..he is huge for a wr..but i love greg reid man...him and joyner gonna ge nice..but jenjije...yikes!!

Yea i know he's a scrub, but with Joyner Reid and there's a good chance of us getting T-Rex, our DB's will be nice. Hope ya'll get goin too though so we dont have to listen to the fools who rip on the ACC lol.

well when virgnia loses to william and mary...maryland loses to middle tenn.st...the acc deserves the ripping they get...miami and fsu just gotta get back...lil by lil...and they will get back...also i forgot nigel bragham..wow..lol

You call yourself an FSU fan and you don't know that Jimbo was the OC at LSU in 06 hahaha.

He had the number one overall pick in JaMarcus Russel, first rounders in Dwayne Bowe, and Craig Davis of the top of my head and that offense underperformed. My point is I am not sold on Jimbo as a coach.

JaMarcus Russell had a rock for a brain. Theres a reason Kiffin begged Al Davis to take AP instead of him in the draft.

I knew Jimbo was at LSU in 06 which is why I didnt understand what you were talking about because we were debating about him at FSU. To say they underperformed is a little bit of a stretch considering they played well enough as you said to produce 3 first round draft picks. Russell threw for over 3,000 yards that year and they averaged almost 35 ppg. So i dunno will C...I know that our O was not the problem this year, and if it wasnt for our horrible D we could have easily won 8-9 games.
