Looks like Bowden is trying to grab up all the recruits committed to schools with coaching questions. Hope we aren't due bad Karma from the Brandon Warren saga.

ESPN - Southeast Recruiting Blog

Also look for the Seminoles to try to make a move on Tennessee running back commit Jarvis Giles (Tampa, Fla./Gaither). Giles, an ESPNU 150 prospect, committed to the Vols early in the process in part because of his relationship with UT running backs coach Stan Drayton, who was at Florida prior to heading to Knoxville this season. With speculation surrounding the uncertain future of UT head coach Phillip Fulmer and staff, there could be a window for the 'Noles to make a move on Giles, who grew up a Florida State fan.

Giles is a tremendous pickup for any program. Multiple SEC and ACC coaches believe he is without a doubt one of the best running backs in the country. ESPN Scouts Inc. agrees, rating him as the No. 5 running back in the nation and the No. 42 prospect overall.

Get ready people, coaches are really gonna use our coaching issues to try to lure away our commits. Stay tuned for more of this.

I honestly believe if we could get Butch Davis, we could keep a lot of these guys. He a proven winner and very well known to players around the country. Not to mention, a hell of a salesmen.

I agree completely and that is one of the main reason he is my #1 replacement. Not only that, but alot of our potentials have UT and UNC in their top 5. So Davis could be the best of both worlds as far as the coach they want at the school they want. Additionally, he could probably bring some of his recruits with him.

just trying to provide the scoop. check his status updates.

So I take it his profile message/status frequently has something to do with UT. Please tell (copy and paste haha.)

I did this a couple times last year, however it was recruits that lived close to me or played ball in our region. For some reason that justified me reaching out to a complete stranger. Only one ever messaged me back, Jomarkus Savage (Auburn). I hyperlinked the D Line highlight video from UT's website and told him to come be a star. It was literally like two days before signing day. I forgot what he said, something about being fast and wanting to play a certain way. I think he had already made up his mind.

I think Giles is Vol all the way. All I can remember him talking about is getting out of Florida

I read a South Carolina blog (the state) that had contacted Jarvis Giles. He said he was still committed, but paying close attention to the rumblings. JG said that if he did take visits, both South Carolina and Clemson are schools he would consider visiting. I guess this was before TB got fired.

JG seems to be a bright kid who is concerned with his reputation and opportunities to succeed. He would definitely open things back up if the staff was let go. But I think he truly loves KVille and he would still be interested in the new coaches were. Drayton and Co need to be talking to him daily.

FSU has been having the same problems as us for awhile now. He wouldn't be going to any better of a situation.
