He fumbled just as I was about to post this, but Weatherford has come alive in these last two drives.

Why did FSU just snap the ball with 12 seconds on the play clock??

Geez. Miami's wide receivers didn't help out Kyle Wright much in the second half.

Time for Ears to update the ole resume. He'll need it soon.

ESPN praised him quite a bit at the end of the game. Apparently he has gotten Miami's priorities in the right place or something. What's your take on all that?

All I know is that ESPN shows a TOTAL of 5 rushing yards between the two of them. Either these defenses are insane, or they can't run worth a crap.

Miami was without Tyrone Moss, who is a pretty good back. FSU can't run the ball well at all. Both teams have great front sevens pretty much every year.

1. Butch Davis instituted the disciplinary policies that allegedly "cleaned up" the program.
2. Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson both graduated players at a rate far above the national average.
3. How would Mike Patrick have any clue what Larry Coker has or has not done? He's been covering the NFL for the last 15 years.

I thought that game sucked. Really good defenses against very inept offenses. Also, can either team run a play without a penalty being called. I know there is NFL talent all over the field, but that game seems to be getting worse every year.

You'll be hard pressed to find a game all year with more big hits than Florida State/Miami. I love that stuff.

The defenses were good, but the offenses were just putrid. The two teams combined for 3 yards rushing!?

I agree with you, the hitting was good. But the overall play is getting pretty pitiful on the offensive end.

It is turning into a rather boring game offensively. Thankfully, we were able to see it from different camera angles or it would have been a complete bust.

I'm sorry but the seven different camera views at once just gave me a headache.
