Hold up a minute. CPF was a great coach, but like all long tenured coaches he got complacent. Our players were in the police reports more than the sports pages. And the game was passing him by. He had an awesome run, and we will love him forever for that. But should we have kept him around and let his w-l record look like Dooley's? Because it was definitely headed downhill.

His replacements are so much better.
Bring in Kiffen, what happen with his boys. Fulmer may of had a few problems but Fulmer never let us get into NCAA trouble.

Then give it to Dooley who kept us out of trouble but can't coach.

Let's take a look at his last 2 seasons. We got the crap beat out of us by Florida and Alabama in 2007. Only because the stars fell in exactly the right place did we get to the SECCG. And in 2008 we went 5-7. CPF was an awesome coach, and he gave his all at UT. But he got complacent, quit recruiting, and gave his offense to a loser. Our players were starting to spend more time in jail than on the football field. It was time for him to go. No need to ruin his reputation by running the program further in the ground.
