And yes... I'm 100% serious.. He'd take the job.. Itching to get back into coaching.. And would be a great asset on the recruiting trail with his history here.

He's a guy players instantly respect and has put a ton of O lineman in the league.

Never happen. Phil wouldn't do it I don't think and if he did there could be too much inside fighting over differences especially with Phil's connections to big supporters.

He loves the university, and if he took it as an opportunity to come back and team up with Butch and bring us back... Dont see why he wouldn't take it... He wants to coach again. Pride would be the only thing holding him back.

He wants to be a head coach somewhere. Not an o-line coach at the school that fired him.

Hows about we keep the guy that helped fix our run game this year and that the O-lineman (including Jawaun James) know and love.

I thought the bring Trooper idea was bad enough, but this is ridiculous. For one Fulmer wouldn't do it and second why would CBJ want to put himself in the situation of having Fulmer on his staff?

I would have no problem at all with Fulmer taking over as AD. Especially if Butch doesn't pan out, but I hope he does.

Like the idea, but doesn't sound like a good idea. Wouldn't want another Majors / Fulmer fiasco.

While we are at it, let's see if Johnny Majors will come back as OC?

How about Holloway as a QB coach? Ariel Foster will retire today and coach our RB's?
