Personally I'm hoping eventually for Chavis to take over w/ Trooper as his OC, leading eventually to Trooper as our HC and a string of NCs.

In fact, if he just had 2-3 more years under his belt, I'd take Trooper as HC right now if Chavis would stick around as his OD/mentor (and, yes I know pigs are more likely to fly out of my)

but I digress.
What I really think we need isn't to get rid of Sanders or Fulmer, but to add the missing Psych component to the overall coaching team.

I've said it a bunch, and I'll say it again- make Summitt a Special Consultant to the Football program and MAKE the damned good-old-boys listen to her.  Fulmer and Sanders really only lack the mental tools- they recruit and train excellent kids.  They just don't prepare them mentally to lead if they don't come into the program with that part of them already developed.

I like Troopers motivation, but I don't think that makes him a good OC... not yet.

I don't think Trooper is ready to be an OC and we don't need to take a chance at this point. We need someone who is proven to breathe some life into this program and hold our players accountable for their miserable performances.

You blame washington for the dropped balls yet people still refuse to rip taylor for 4 fumbles in the red zoned in 2 weeks by 3 different rb's. I dont care if you like him. His emotional spark still has the vols at 3-4.  He sucks too.

I blame both of them. IT is poor coaching. Sanders is the offensive COORDINATOR, that means he coordinates with all the offensive coaches to ensure that they are all pointed in the right direction.... Well, obvioously that ain't happening.... All 3 of them need to go.

The Special Teams looked improved, and the defense was solid, but they can't carry the team. It is pathetic to have as many scoring opportunites that they had last night and come away with nothing.

I agree, Sanders is the offensive coordinator. He should be held responsable for for the offense be ranked 105 th in the nation. The defense is rated 6th. That should explain it all right there. If cfp does not want to fire Randy, then they both should go.

If I'm not mistaken, the defense is ranked 16th overall.

I wonder if our D is ranked so high because the opposing offenses know that they really only have to score about 15 points to win.

With that you assume that everyone else in the conference has adopted UTs offensive game plan. That is unlikely.
