Fulmer to The Ohio State University?

I'm sure most people know he wouldn't be considered for the job. But I have no idea why there is such negativity towards Fulmer. The man was a very good recruiter, kept a solid staff, and stayed true to UT traditions. Not to mention helped bring a National Title. He had a very good run for about 10 years. In his last 6 years he did struggle with his staff and overall consistency with the program. And yes that does have a part in our recent decline. Is Fulmer like a Bobby Bowden or Joe Pa? No but after they have had there great runs and probly stayed too long, there programs have declined also. It just happens. I just hate to see a man who really defines a V4L recieve such a negative vibe when IMO should recieve praise for his time.

He is ridiculously arrogant. Therefore, no one gives him any slack when it goes south and everybody piles on like heck.

He'll get more praise from the fanbase when we pull out of the nose dive.

...until then, fair game.

Fulmer has a friend that owns a lake house 20-30 minutes from tOSU campus. There are rumblings on an OSU site that say he's visited recently. TIFWIW.

Here we go....... Well from what I seen in an interview from him on news channel 5 here in Nashville during a golf tourny for the Jason Foundation he is pretty much done coaching. He is enjoying retirement, and his wife Vicky pretty much wants him to stay retired.

His next job will be UT AD. Book it.

Phil's just playing hard to get, looks like tOSU could need a coach and an AD for 2012. Phil could throw his weight around and be great in either position.
.....in other news, Joker Phillips has assured the UK athletic dept. that he has no interest in the tOSU coaching job.

...Urban doesn't exactly scream "Captain Integrity" to me.

having said that, Columbus will be screwed for 2-3 years, If it were me, I'd wait to see how Kelly does at ND.
I don't see him leaving ND if he's doing well.

Of course not.

but if they are middling about and not making progressive leaps and bounds, we know they won't hesitate to dump Kelly. Especially, if Urban is still available.
