Creating the best staff in America... When Fooley was fired and Hart was on a coaching search, it was rumored that Fulmer was pushing to get the job back. He had Chevous back as DC and was bringing in a new OC of BOBBY PETRINO! It was apparently all being organized and negotiated at Fulmers HOF banquet. Hart's hands were tied bc of how Fulmer and the big money in Knoxville don't get along. My source is a local vol in West Tn that actually played with Fulmer at UT. Chief did not want anything to do with the HC job and PETRINO would be able to ease his way bak into football without having to take a lesser HC job at a small school (which is why he is where he is now). PETRINO would basically be HC in waiting. ... This would have been amazing. BUT, with that said, I am very please with Butch and company. Go Vols

Marijuana is an illegal drug in the state of Tennessee at this time.....making posts on Volnation while intoxicated by Tetrahydrocannabinol is PRICELESS...:peace2:

You should have gone with Gen. Neyland coming back from the dead the coach the Vols.

It would have been only slightly less believable.

You gotta work Gruden into this story somehow or no one is gonna believe it.

Actually, I heard that Fulmer, Petrino, and Gruden were at a top secret meeting at the Fox & Hound working out the details. Something fell through at the last minute.

Come on guys! Get over Phil Fulmer, respect the man but he burned out or got lazy, whatever, so let it go. Just think about all the times he was outcoached by Steve Superior and a lot of other coaches for that matter. Remember all those lame screen passes he tried to run but always failed and for God's sake forget about Gruden, why would he leave a national profile job to come to God forsaken Knox Vegas. LET IT GO.

Just heard from a buddy who saw on Twitter a post from Facebook originally posted on Instagram that Justin Beiber will be the new associate director of after game entertainment and Amanda Bynes will be director of drug procurement

On a similar note, I had a conversation with a rabbit, a crazy guy wearing a top hat, and a girl high on schrooms and it turned out better than this thread

I feel so bad for OP. I was new once. I remember starting a bad thread and thinking VN was going to be all about it, and instead just getting drilled for pages and pages for it.

Take it like a man #27VFL. You'll become a better poster for it in the long run.

3 things

1. It's July and I'd like to know something better to discuss
2. Why would this not work? It happened at Kansas State and they turned out ok
3. Don't tell me it would "never" happen. Kiffin pulled off a staff similar to this at the time. And Fulmer is one of the most respected coached by his peers nationally.

1) Boobs
2) Boobs
3) Would never happen

I thought the Gruden saga was bad. This tops it.

Lol. Good thread,OP. So what happened? Was it just the rich azzholes in Kville who shut him down? I am personally very happy they did. I never liked CPF. He rode Manning for 15 years. He was a decent coach vs noone, but a suckazz coach vs SEC caliber coaches. THANKS RICH FOLKS! GO VOLS!
