That movie had about 4 scenes that had me laughing as hard as I ever have in a movie theater.

Galaxy Quest had some great scenes and is an underrated satire film imo..Sigourney Weaver's line "Let's get out of here before one of those things kills guy" shows how you always knew the "guest" crew were going to get taken out..this one is very funny though, where Lt. Laredo scrapes the side of the bay when taking the ship out into space

I think the second one is ok. I don't think it deserves all the backlash it got because it still has some pretty hilarious scenes. I think they just trited way too hard to copy the first one without being completely obvious they were copying it and it came out meh. The anchorman rumble is a perfect example. The first movie it's a classic scene that was pretty much perfect. The second movie they just kept throwing crap in the mix and it was just too much.

So yeah joe, if you really think the second one is hilarious, you MUST watch the first one. It's a million times better and it has scenes and lines you'll be quoting a decade later.

I guess not seeing the first one made the second so funny to me. I'm gonna have to watch the first one now.
