I was partners with my mom against my dad and sister. I also used to play a game that my grandmother taught me called 7up. I can't find anyone else that's even heard of it.My Dad and I were always partners against my brother and brother-in-law. We rarely won. I always accused them of signals. since they both smoked they'd always take "breaks" together on the back porch between rounds. We'd play for hours.

Loved Hearts as a kid too. And Canasta.I have, but it's been so long I can't remember a thing about it or how to play it. Hearts was good also, but totally frustrating to go a whole set and get hooked on the last throw and pull all the points. Aggravated the crap outta me. Then came smart phone, social media, and self absorption.

You all ever heard of the card game called bull crap? It's actually B's, but we say crap.
Haha. It's actually a game my wife's cousin taught us. Need at least 4 people, then deal the deck evenly. The point is to get rid of your cards. You lay down say 3 cards and either have, or claim to have say 3 Kings. If I have 2 Kings I know you're lying and call bull crap, and you have to pick up the pile. You go in order from 2- an ace with everyone laying a card, and as many as 4 if you actually have all 4 of something. If you're on a card and don't have one, then you have to take a chance and lie. It's pretty fun.No. can't say I know that one. and I'm waiting on that sucker punch line for responding. But, I've had some bloody knuckles from playing Spoons. That was a blast. All you needed was a decent picnic table, some spoons, and not a lot of sense. Kinda like musical chairs with spoons and knuckles.
