Ah, the good ol' Moto bag phone. Anyone else use one? Beat the heck out of a roll of quarters and looking for a pay phone.

Yep. On Cellular One before Verizon swallowed them up. Bought the mount kit for mine for my '94 Toyo 4x4. Receiver behind the seat. antenna on the window, and the wire under the seat to the cradle by the gear shift. And the reception was better than a lot of today's smart phones. Especially good was the reception on that old Samsung ACH 310 tri-mode flip phone. It'd find a signal in a preppers bunker.

That's because they had a 3 amp output. We could call West Palm from Walker's Cay. Now output is measured in tenths of watts.
