Reminds me of a preacher years ago that did alot of teen work and youth rally's and such. He looked every bit the part of an old time, old school person, but his connection to youth was astounding. He had a 'routine' where he'd pull up a chair in the midst of a group, and go through a bunch of stuff from fun participation to life, to dating advice. Some serious, some funny all rolled up into a session that would lead to standing ovations every time. He always had a dating quip for the girls...If a guy asks you if you want to get in the back seat, tell him no I'd rather stay up here with you...
