The flyswatter was on top of the fridge. When Mama reached up, my brother and I ran. She could literally take the skin off your thighs.

My wife had a flyswatter she used on our kids but it wasn’t a standard flyswatter. It was a miniature flip flop on the end of the handle, got the job done.

Same here with the count. We both detested corporal punishment, however, sometimes them young'ns need it. Thank goodness it wasn't often.

I feel like I told this on here recently, but I will again. I said I was gonna call the police one time, and I got handed the phone, told to call, and the whooping didn't stop

You know, I just realized something, maybe all those beatings I had (and deserved) is why I have such a high pain tolerance now
