Yo @Orangeslice13 !! My step-son is planning to accept a position with a company in Chattanooga. Where are some of the "better" places to look for a house...prices, tranquility, etc? I was thinking maybe up 127/111 somewhere between Redbank and the Soddy. The office is downtown, but he wouldn't have to go in every day. He's in Ag now with a seed company and hunkers down around Valdosta to access his territories north and south but he's tired of doing hte plantings with growers and the seed trials. His current company is legit good. Best benefits I've ever seen. They've resorted to recruiting college students full time for $40K plus they cover finishing your degree while you work. But, you have to go to Tampa till school is done. My son thought about it, but he's more interested in turf grass mgt. Step-son has to pass a soil scientist test and get licensed before he can officially move to this new job, but they want him and are holding the position. It will be 2-3 months to get squared away.

I’m sure they are, and this may happen everywhere, but in Chattanooga a large number of houses are not going on the market. The agents are finding buyers before they’re listed. If you don’t know someone then you’re not getting a house.

It’s crazy.
