Future of Alabama Football

Lincoln Riley to Bama, not Dabo.

Saban will stay until he's about 75, Riley will have the "requiste" SEC experience by then and perhaps even a "signature win" vs Bama. Riley is the future of coaching, not Dabo.
I think the only place Riley goes is to the NFL.

It’ll be hard for Dabo to turn down a chance to coach at his alma mater on the biggest stage in college football.

Imo, I think he takes it whenever the job opens up.

Hard to turn down? He has an easier path to the playoff at Clemson, has proven he can win multiple titles at Clemson, and Clemson will pay just as much as Alabama.

Unless he can't resist the sentimental call from "momma," he has absolutely no reason to leave at this point.

Riley to the Dallas Cowboys if he wins a NC
Y'all're nuts. Great college coaches are recruiters; great NFL coaches are businessmen. One doesn't need to recruit great talent to the NFL..... it's there. One needs to manage a salary cap, egos, and the politics of your position coaches.

Riley MIGHT be a good businessman/politician, but he's DEFINITELY a good recruiter.

He might try it but he'd do well to research Nick Saban at Miami, then Alabama..... and I'll wait about 3 years for Urban Meyer to be another example.

Riley can be God at Alabama after Saban or he can be Saban at Miami.

Choose well, grasshopper.

It will be a name not on this list. There are 24, 698 coaches in the state of alabama, but more then likley someone like Campbell, or Fickell.

Riley gets eaten by the NFL, like Meyer now and Saban before him........ but yeah, he might try it.

Riley can recruit, and it is...... like Meyer..... his gift. It's worthless in the NFL.
What about Cliff Kingsbury? I don’t see Lincoln’s personality as the same as Saban or Urbans.
