From what I've gathered elder wants to be promised basketball. So CCM probably has to assure him of a spot on the basketball team, kind of a dual sport recruitment. CCM and staff were at one of his games a couple weeks ago evaluating him.

CCM saying no to Elder is about as likely as me saying no to a slice of free pizza.......and I love pizza.

CCM doesn't like to make promises he can't keep, and I'm sure butch jones isn't trying to piss off ensworth in year 1. If CCM promises elder a spot and next year rolls around and he's getting no run it may become an issue.

It's hard to part with someone who has signed a LOI like Landry has. However, scholarships are one year things, his may not get renewed after his freshman year.

Actually, I'd have preferred we added Fabyon Harris last year, that one still aggravates me.

My problem with Coach Martin's evaluation at PG is that the two he has brought in can't handle the ball.

Hearing rumors some Tennessee coach was at Blackman high school to see Darius Thompson play. Any possibility he is our future point guard? The kid is a great leader, passer, and a winner.

Believe Jon Harris was there, Tennessee is evaluating him pretty hard. NC STATE was also there watching him so TIFWIW.

Has a decent offer list, a few SEC teams, and is starting to get attention from bigger programs.

As for his PG game, seeing SG by his name scares me, but I've not seen him play.

Tennessee staff including Martin are at the Huntington Prep/New Hampton game today (currently airing on ESPN). Obiously Landry is there, but being reported that staff made some contact with Travis and is starting to recruit him (again).
