I see it going like this in '11:

QB- most likely 1, possibly 2
RB- at least 1, maybe 2
FB- 0
WR- 2
TE- 2
OL- most likely 5, possibly 6

you always need a ton of guys in the backfield. combining those 8 RBs with the 4 FBs, 12 guys will barely give us enough depth to fill those 2 spots on the field imho.

This is what I think too. I really felt like we needed two QB's until we talked about it in the other thread. I don't think it would hurt, but it's not necessary.

I think this would address our needs for the 2011 class. I think the FB days are coming to an end, we should be good with Palardy this year. So If we don't sign a K,we could use that slot for a OL, to make a total of 6 OL. Jmo

i disagree completely with the OL. I think we will only take 5 max, maybe even 4. Taking 7 seems extreme to me.

7 does seem like a bit much seeing as how we are so young on the OL...I nderstand depth is an issue but not for 7 OL next class

So Nash Nance is not a D-1 quarterback in your opinion? He is in mine, so I think we only go 1 qb in this class.
