I might have to make that trip to college station in 2016. I bet that would be a blast.

I wouldn't mind Tennessee not playing Alabama for 12 years

Not playing Bama would ruin the season almost completely. That game is the essence of college football in the South. I don't care if we take a** whipping after a** whipping from Bama, in no way should that game ever not be on the schedule.

I'm happy as long as we keep bama on the schedule. I still don't understand why the SEC doesn't go to 9 games with the 6-2-1 format. 6 division games, 1 permanent rival and 2 rotating cross divisional games. I do believe this will be the format the SEC goes to when they decide to go to 9 games. I don't think being undefeated will have so much clout with the committee like it did with the BCS, so it really wouldn't affect the chances of the SEC getting multiple teams in the playoff.

I'd like UT to take a break from the a**kickings. In 3-4 seasons UT might be able to go toe to toe with Alabama.

From what I understand the coaches/AD's dont want to have that every other year where they have 5 sec road games. Think thats the roadblock going to 9 sec games.

Agree about the bama game. A season without playing the inbred knuckle draggers wouldn't be the same.

Super pumped about the 2016 game at Texas A&M!!! I live about six hours south of College Station and will be at this game supporting my VOLS!!!! Haven't been able to make it to a game in years because of living in South Texas / Mexico and finally the football Vols are coming this way!

I've been to two Vols basketball games in College Station now and it's a great town to cheer for the Vols in!

I'm looking forward to the days when the SEC West teams look at the schedule and say "oh sh$t, we have to play Tennessee this year."

Completely agree with those looking forward to Tx A&M game. Always wanted to go to a game there. College station looks like it has a great game day atmosphere. Should be done with college then and will have to make the trip.

I like this set up.

The three year span of 2016-2018 will be brutal when you consider we'll also have bama each year.

But by 2016 Butch has us back to dominating again!

I agree with you in 2016 TENNESSEE will rise to the top and stay there for awhile.:dance2:

I remember going to Neyland in the 90s and kicking LSU azz like 62-21. Them was the days I knew we were going to win just didn't know how much of a azz kicking we were going to give who every we played.:bottom:

I think it was something like 42 or 43 to 20.

I remember Fulmer basically apologizing to the fans for not covering the spread. LSU scored late (IIRC).

I know TX A&M has recruited well lately and Sumlin is a good offensive coach, but there's no doubt their early success in the SEC was primarily due to Manziel. Now that he's gone, I expect TX A&M to more or less go back to being their old selves. Is that unrealistic (seriously)?
