Kiffin is still really trying to get 2 Florida OT prospects...Ian Silberman and Chaz Green. He really wants both of them and he is making them a top priority. I don't know if he has a chance for either but it sounds like Kiffin is going to try and get both of them.

There is an article from a little bit ago where Silberman said that Tennessee has still been on him hard. I guess Chaz Green used to live in Tennessee or something like that.

Ah yes, that's what it is. I am surprised that he hasn't given you guys more of a look with both of his parents being UT grads. Who knows though.

You would think that would be a major push for us. Maybe they're just waiting to see what product Kiffin would put on the field. :crossfingers:

We've always been his #3 behind UF and USC. He came up to Knoxville back in the Spring, but he has always seemed like a Gator lock...

Green might be my favorite commit if he decides to choose us. He would be up there with Bray, Ambles, Willis, and Miller.

I don't know much about Silberman, other than the fact that his name sounds Jewish. Not too many of those in football.

Geez. Pair is gone if we get these two because it means we could still take Cullen as well.

We lead for J James, we are top 2 for D Robinson and J Stone.

I think in part Kiffin wants to deny UF great players.

Eventually the best gets in recruiting for us are ones we take from UF and Bama because talent wise in 3 years they will be our only competition along with LSU.

Stealing from Florida is the bee's knees. Not only do we add to our recruiting class, but we take away from our rival. It's like a 2 for 1 special.

I think Urban would have more problems stealing recruits away from us than us stealing recruits from UF. See Florida likes to pressure their commits early and not let them talk to anyone after they do commit. Lane has been letting guys take their time and schedule other visits and feel good with their commitments. This is why I think our commits are more solid than UF's

Does anyone actually think we have a shot at Chaz Green? I think he's been all-Gator for awhile now.

Chaz would likely find himself starting next year if he can enroll early and be here for Spring practice. There's not a better opportunity in the country to come in a play right away (at the OL and QB positions), and for a team on the rise...soon to be back into SECC mix...than right here.
