'17 GA ATH DeAngelo Gibbs

True. Player development wins championships though. Butchy recruited decently well but developed terribly.
Very true; but, Tee is also a very good WR coach...maybe not quite as good as DJ; yet, still very good.

Heard kid can't stay off the weed. Why he's in position he's in

Testing positive for weed isn't a great personal moral failing. He legitimately might have a substance abuse issue, just like millions of Americans who overindulge in alcohol and exceed recommended limits. Or the millions of Americans who smoke tobacco.

I'm not familiar with the circumstances at UGA, but as long as there isn't any criminal intent (i.e. he just likes to smoke weed, he's not selling it, etc...), this is the caliber of player you take a chance on.

But a guy who can't stay off of it can't stay eligible either. So, where is the benefit for Tennessee?

And I am neither for nor opposed to bringing him on board. Just making a statement.

So would he be eligible to play in 2019 or have to wait until 2020?
It would be 2020 unless he can somehow get a waiver. That would be highly unlikely, though, since it's most likely him leaving because of his own off-field issues (from what's been hinted at at least).

How about Tee just didn't want to work for Butch.? Tee has nothing against UT. If it were not so, he'd not be joining the staff today.
Don't know if true, but it's been said that Butch "low-balled" him, because he wanted his " best staff in America".

List of players he’s put in the league from his room:
Randall Cobb
JuJu
Marquise Lee
Nelson Anglor
Robert Woods
Looks like he may have the best resume on the offensive side of the ball
All good players. With the exception of Cobb who wanted to come to Tennessee the rest were bound to USC no matter what. All were exponentially talented. I would be interested to know how much Tee improved them.
