Amazing how many people can watch film of a kid like this and think he's really going to be a QB in college. This was an easy call. So was Jennings not playing QB. But some still wanna die on that hill.

I could really see this guy being great at CB...he is a very aggressive player and that will bode well at CB IMO....he reminds me alot of Bryce Thompson...and with Holiday moving to WR the rotation looks alot better there than it did prior to NSD...it's not as critical as it once looked to have Calloway at WR

WR1: Hyatt, Holiday, M.Jones, Moseley
WR2: Keyton, Gibbs, Nixon, Merrill
WR3: Wideman, Beckwith, Marley, Tillman

Four deep at every position...on the other hand this is what I see at CB...

CB1: Taylor(maybe), Burrell, 2021 signee
CB2: Thompson (maybe), Fields (more of a nickel), 2021 signee

We need bodies and talent at CB specifically...I feel good about safety but CB worries me a bit...AND I honestly think Calloway could be great there

I think Marley ends up at safety...if not linebacker, and we’re going to have more than two corner signees. I see your numbers point, but I don’t see the coaches issuing him the same number as Tyler Baron if they’re initially projecting him on defense. Sure a number can be changed, but why start out that way?

I was touting him as a WR as well at first.
But i paid closer attention to his defense tape, and his footwork. Like you said he's physical, but his instincts are very impressive there. He could challenge for a starting spot at CB this year. Opposite of Bryce. Taylor and George are quality CBs, but Calloway really stands out there.

We’ve got sooo many athletes right now. Have to imagine some wind up at DB. Some will likely wind up transferring as well. Gotta say if Pruitt and Ansley wanted me to play DB I’d be all for it
