I doubt that happens. Coaches usually tell recruits that they will have a chance to play early. Some coaches guarantee it but in the end some of these kids hear what they want to hear and don't use any common sense in actually evaluating their options.

Long story short is naive kids are going to still fall for people tells by them what they want to hear.
