“Right now I’m just looking at, really, Tennessee and Florida,” Harrison said last week. “Auburn, too, if they come in and offer, because I’m talking to them, as well. I can see an offer coming from them real soon.
“Those would probably be the main schools I focus on.”
..
“I’m not sure if it’s the first week or second week of December, but it’s one of those weeks,” Harrison said.
..
“I went to Tennessee when they played South Carolina,” Harrison said. “They blew them out. That was a live game, so that was fun. … I’ve got a good relationship with all the coaches — Coach Martinez, Coach Heupel, (defensive coordinator Tim) Banks. Got a real good relationship with all them, so I like it. I like what’s coming about down there. They’re just going up from here.
“I hear from them probably every two days, so multiple times a week. I get a FaceTime call with them every week. I was on a FaceTime (last week) for, like, 20 minutes with the whole staff, just talking to each person.”
..
“They’re just trying to get me down there on an official,” said Harrison, who received his first Power Five offer in early September from Kansas State and now holds offers from nearly 20 schools. “They want me. They want me to make that move down there.”
..
“That game atmosphere was crazy,” Harrison said. “I was at the South Carolina game. It was just different — the best atmosphere I’ve been in at a college game. Fan base is crazy. They love their players — ride or die for them. Coaches, they’re a close coaching staff. They came in with each other, most of those guys, and got a lot of experience, as well, so I know they’re going to get me to where I want to go.
“Coach Martinez has put, he told me, 45 DBs in 20 years in the League that he’s been coaching, so I know he’s going to get me where I want to go. I’ve just got to put my mind to it.”
