I’m willing to bet my entire life’s savings that a Top 100 player would not entertain the idea of “blue-shifting” which is something usually reserved for fringe guys who typically don’t make the roster without paying their own way.

People need to quit thinking of this as a trusted route to elite talent. Unique situations like Bryce Thompson happen, but you need to have space and a lot of luck.

Wilcoxson has boasted that he’s the best peer recruiter in the 2021 class, and he’s been able to back that up so far — with some help from Tennessee’s coaches, of course. But he wants Vol fans and others around the country to know that this is just the beginning for the Vols.

No. It was his dream school at one point. That doesn't mean he's going to go there after decommitting twice. He kind of talks about it in interviews.
