I really think Bush and McCollough have as legit of a shot as anybody in the '19 class at being name-brand, "better scheme for this guy" type of players.

Bush looks like a shutdown corner with ball skills on tape.

McCollough looks like a Landon Collins mold line-of-scrimmage weapon with cover skill.

That and our secondary is so depleted of talent, if those are the guys on your board... just take em all lol... don't forget Huff... need him too :)

Agreed.

Fields also is a little like mcollough in that way.

Bush and blades and to lesser extent Burrell all seem to be more natural at corner.

Film-watching aside... any time a DB's nickname is "Tank"... count me in on wanting that guy :rock:

No shade Burrell's way either... everything I've seen from him looked solid

VQ mods said yesterday that basically Pruitt is going to take all these DB's and sort it out later, he's not going to turn any of them away. And that most of them can play multiple positions, like Harris, who can play WR.

It’s not just the dbs. He wants to put a specific type of football player on the field at different positions. But his main focus is upping our athleticism. Which is why we’re taking guys like Beasley, Harris, Crouch, Bogle, etc. Get them on campus and the. Sort it out.

WB has put on good weight this spring and summer, definitely looks bigger compared to last year. With the graduation of 2/3rds of the linebackers i look for tighter in your face coverage this comming year. IMO WB would make a heck of a free safety

They have been focusing on agility drills and explosion drills this summer a lot... more than the normal program...

I could possibly see that as well. One thing that is essential is they want all their DB's, including the safeties to have corner type coverage skills.
