'19 GA DB Kenyatta Watson II

I seriously doubt he was here. With social media and how much people follow recruiting he would have been seen. More likely Rusty had old info and people are cooking up elaborate theories they were faking pictures to sneak in.
Probably. I don’t think that Hubbs knew he was here and just acted as tho he didn’t.

Maybe. But isnt just a little strange that the programs that consistently win a lot of games get the best recruits? Especially when it comes to P5 teams.
Chicken/egg? Saban didn’t have the best class or record his first season. Julio Jones class signed up in anticipation. Dabo took a few years and “Clemsoning” was coined under him...wins wise. Deshaun Watson signed up anyway and that’s all she wrote. Pruitt has been part of three of these programs that recruit on demand, Just remains to see if he can translate that as a HC...it’s sounding like recruits are listening.

Outside of pictures recruits post themselves.... how often do you see pics of recruits from their visit? Eric Gray was here this weekend.... I haven't seen a photo to prove it.

I don't think it's inconceivable at all that a kid can come and meet with the staff, and it be kept on the DL.

You've got to prove you can do more with less before you get the top notch recruits. Don't have to compete for championships, but you've got to surpass expectations. Tennessee has done some good things this year (Auburn, Kentucky), but a win Saturday and a bowl berth would signal real improvement, from a perception standpoint. If you're a believer in momentum, ending the season with 2 losses would be a much tougher sell going into the offseason. It's also not fair to compare him to the only 2 head coaches who have won national championships the past few years. Give Pruitt time. He knows football. And he's been wise to learn from CPF in his transition to the HC role.

Not as optimistic as you but I can live with that. The man deserves a chance.

I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as overly "optimistic" but we have to give him time. And he does know football. I judge a coach based on improvement. This year's team is much improved over last year's team, in my opinion. There are some very obvious gaps on this team, especially on the lines. Losing Trey Smith and Kennedy being out for the season haven't helped at all. But this staff is recruiting well and will continue to address needs. Pruitt understands that winning in the SEC is about being strong on the OL and DL. 12 of our current 20 commitments (according to Rivals) are on the line (TE included). Give it time and, in the meantime, support the players who are giving their all and have been dealt a tough hand.

Now if he was then he is the one VQ is saying the family has asked to keep it on the DL.

Rusty was at the camp on Sunday so he might have inside info

But BEFORE Dabo won a NC he was an unproven...even moreso than Pruitt. Our HC has name value with these recruits due to recruiting many of them at other stops. There’s no hard and fast rules with this. I will agree that a loss to Vandy sets us back.

And Dabo didn’t have someone like Fulmer to learn from either!

With the way this season has been. The fact that we are in on these types of recruits and probably landing a lot of them is just mind blowing to me. Says a lot about this Coach and the turn around may be closer than I thought it would be
