My source says he doesn’t like where this one stands at all.

It’s sad to see some parents try to live their own dreams and aspirations through their kids and not let them choose a school themselves.

Not sure why y’all think it’s Sr. Perhaps, just maybe, the kid just wants to play at Texas. By all accounts the family loves Knoxville. The insistence that there’s some boogieman FORCING a kid to go to a different school is so silly.

You're way too close to the situation. You need to back away. We've got this.

So we like when Mom and Dad want a kid to come to Knoxville, but when they want him to go somewhere else, it's vicarious living. Is that right? I haven't posted in a while, and I'm not trying to start stuff, but this thinking is asinine.

Maybe, maybe not but you can’t act like we have never seen it before🤷🏽‍♂️ That’s all I’m saying nothing more.

Or...it's inspiring to see a father and son have a great relationship where his son values his input.

This board is full of experts who know all and talk out of their ***, especially when things don’t go their way.

I was asking, based on what I'd read. Thanks for the info.

All good, it just amounts to a form of “didn’t want him anyway” that I think we can be above. Especially when it’s directed at a guy that busts his ass to get as many kids into college for free as he can. He’s prob no angel of course, but he’s not that petty.

I won’t speak in absolutes, but I know the guy better than all but maybe one or two of you, and it’s baseless and insulting. So let’s chill on the scapegoating.

Fair enough!🤷🏽‍♂️ I just know I’m not the only one on this board that has said something referring to his dad and how he is involved, some question it but if you’re in the “know” then I’ll take your word for it but it happens.
