'17 GA DT Aubrey Solomon (NCAA IS A FAIR ORGANIZATION)

This would be a tremendous loss...boy I hope the guy was just exaggerating.

Hope so too. Soloman being cleared is already very important and became even more important if the Gooden news is true. Fortunately, we did have some huge DLine recruits come in that have huge upsides. Experience will/would be the biggest issue. Hopefully it's just bad or wrong info.

I would hate it for him (Gooden).

These injury rumors seem to always turn out to be true for us.

Now is probably the time to post the obligatory “this happens every year.”

This news on Gooden may not be true in the end, but there is always a key player that gets injured in the preseason for us or very early in the season. I’ve come to expect it honestly. I can’t recall a season where it didn’t happen. Just seems to be part of football - every team goes through it. That’s why depth is so important and part of why it takes time to build a program.

Could be just reading the message boards, but he usually has some decent info. At least when it comes to recruiting, not sure about other stuff.

I remember signing day 2017, at the time my cousin played at MBA with Ty Chandler. That morning he sent me a text saying Ty was going to flip when he signed. I posted it on here because whether good news or bad, i wanted some kind of insider status at least once. Hours went by, no mention of it from any recruiting reporter types. Later that day he signs with us, and my cousin texts me “Lolol gotcha b*tch”.

I’ll wait on a statement from Pruitt.

He gets 90% of his info from the boards and tries to put his on spin on it. I give it to him tho he has fooled Fox Sports Knoxville into giving him a job. lol
He has broken news plenty of times.

Edit

He was the first and only one to report Jennings off-season knee surgery, which was true.

FWIW, Houston Kress said there is confirmation that he was injured, but they don’t know the severity.
