'17 GA DT Aubrey Solomon (NCAA IS A FAIR ORGANIZATION)

Even if Michigan isn't "fudging" circumstances, which they actually are doing but I'll go with yer hypothetical for a second. They are changing the reason the players give and saying they just want to transfer for playing time. Basically accusing the players of lying. Pruitt said marquill Osbourne only wanted to transfer for playing time and Pruitt supported it and waiver was approved. Pruitt's approach of supporting the players seems to be reducing transfers. Even guys that want to leave see the support and many change their minds. As opposed to the mass exodus from Harbaugh's dickhead approach.

LOL!!!

I feel you, and You can be mad at those people, I am also to an extent. But from what I hear that’s just smoke to cover up the f up.
Wait. Your going to come on here and insinuate that Tennessee is to blame without even telling how they are to blame? Are they the reason for the other MI transfers not getting approval?

We can be mad at the ncaa all we want for dragging their feet on this situation, but in the end, the blame falls on the individuals at UT responsible for filing Aubrey’s paperwork to
The NCAA. They dropped the ball and now Aubrey and his teammates will be adversely affected. If we’re lucky we will hear something just before the BYU game, or on the Monday following the BYU game.
No, we're mad at CJH and the Michigan AD for making it difficult for the NCAA to just approve it.

You actually quoted my first post where I clearly stated how they were to blame. I’ll give u the cliff notes- “whoever was responsible at UT for filing Aubrey’s paperwork did him a huge disservice.”

Mitigating and extreme are two completely different things. You keep arguing this has to be some extreme reason and it doesn’t. I’m not going to argue with you about this all day lol, we can agree to disagree.

Their new guideline word is "extraordinary" iirc.

No, I quoted the post I meant to quote. But now that you answered that question.... If it was filed sooner then he would now be eligible? It has nothing to do with how MI is handling their transfers as is being reported in the press?

Only on VN can poster be dead ass wrong and think he is right because the poster pointing out the obvious truth is hated

Lol
You aren't hated by moi

The more publicity this gets (USA Today, etc) the better chance of approval imo.
The USA Today story is just a reprinting of the KNS story on Solomon.
But, of course, it’s a national newspaper.
So, maybe that makes a little difference in embarrassing Harbaugh and Michigan?
I’d like to hope so but I very much doubt it.

All I took from this conversation is LAVol making sense of Solomon, Fields, Martell, and others. Previous schools hold too much power imo if all this is true. Don't even need a case, just have prior school by the balls (Fields) or be buddy with the weak new coach (Martell) and you're in. Old coach doesn't give AF and you're out. Hmmm k.

Agreed

He got denied. Our you suggesting we made an inadequate case?

There's no telling how long reconsideration will take or who's fault, if any, it is at this point for how long it takes.

Username checks out. So give us the goods Insider. And not that Tony B nonsense.

I thought he was just repeating an opinion stated on VN. Remember reading that but don't remember who said it.

It’s impossible to answer your first question in terms of if he would be eligible by now, but If the paperwork was done correctly and all the t’s We’re crossed then yes we would've had an actual answer by now. How Michigan handles their transfers has nothing to do with how WE file and coordinate our transfer paperwork. I agree with you 💯 that Michigan isn’t gonna make it easy on us to get Aubrey approved as made evident by other kids transferring from MICH. All I’m saying is we didn’t help ourselves when we dropped the ball on the paperwork,m.

I remember a Tony B rumor our compliance botched some paperwork. AV flew in and squashed it.

I feel like if some piece of paperwork was messed up, that wouldn't be a huge issue causing all this but who knows.

I feel like GBO is making a bigger point, like we filed a poor case completely or filed the wrong kind of waiver. He said "huge disservice". Quite an insinuation.

It’s not a new opinion by any means, people just don’t want to believe it and I don’t blame them. It’s a tough pill to swallow knowing somebody screwed up on something so important.
