Tennessee Head Coach Josh Heupel is expected to work through South Georgia to start his day on Wednesday. Heupel’s expected stops include checking on top 2025 defender Elijah Griffin and several touted prospects at Calvary Day School.

Rodney Garner is expected to work through South Georgia as well. He will join Heupel in checking on Elijah Griffin, and the duo are also expected to check on four-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson.

Rodney Garner will start his day in the Savannah area and then work north checking on multiple prospects. During his travels, Garner will check on several schools in the Savannah area. He will make a stop at Savannah Day, which is the home of 2025 five-star Elijah Griffin. Tennessee has not had any real traction here, but the Vols, like numerous others, have worked to keep tabs on Griffin.

We’re going to loose maybe 4 DTs this year. Behind them we’re looking a little thin. Unless a few of our current SDEs are planning on switching to DT, we could use another one. Are we still in communication with Elijah?

I agree it is a nice area. I lived there for several years when my step dad was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart. We moved back to Tennessee when he retired. While it's nice, I'd much rather live here in Tennessee. The biggest benefit living there was being at Tybee Island every weekend

My benefit was having Sunday brunch on at Huey’s on River Street with a Cajun Bloody Mary. Or maybe the Shell House.
