Tennessee continued its productive recruiting weekend Sunday by landing one of its longtime linebacker targets in the 2023 class, Jeremiah Telander.

It sounds almost like we recruited him on purpose.

I love the Telander pick-up. He runs very well from side line to side line. Only reason he isn't a consensus 4 star is because he is a little on the light side.

He also played for a much smaller school with less resources and worse players than he'll have this coming season. At that new weight and with the new environment I think he's going to have a great season and his profile will rise.

I agree. Right now I think he’s a 3 star as well. I will say this, I like him more than Godfrey who is actually a 4 star by some sites. I can see why he was considerably higher on the staff’s board out of the two.

He's the #15 LB on ESPN. #29 on Rivals.

Big discrepancy vs the other services at #60 and #90.

I don't look at ESPN rankings so I don't know about them but Rivals has ILB and OLB still. Telander is that number at ILB, not overall LB
