He’s been a HS coach forever and killed it there. And his off-field issues are basically the only reason he isn’t already in college, and he isn’t exactly young. If he was offered a position that paid more than what he’s making (which can’t be much) and allowed him to wear a headset during games I doubt he’d say no

He made 100,000 in 08 at Hoover and google says he now nets roughly 200,000 between his job at Colquitt and his Alabama pension

Who pays that salary? I would hope that's mostly funded by private donations and not from school funding. Absolutely nuts for HS football.

I think in the end Rush stays for 1 more year, they lose 16 srs this year and return loaded Jr and Sophomore classes

He used to be a good recruiter. At some point, you have to back it up on the field. Part of that is on him and the position he coached. Part of that is on CBJ.

In certain counties in GA coaches can make a killing. You get pay increases based on number of wins, state titles, etc. He does very well financially. However, as a former HS coach..... I have no idea how he has done it this long. 5 yrs and I was mentally and physically exhausted! Lol
Bring him to UT, 10th assistant.... the “scenario coach”. Dude has seen a ton of football, might help pru with in game management. I.E, not Butch’s chart!
