'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

SCUTTLE: Tennessee's highest-rated commit plans to be a frequent visitor on Rocky Top this fall, but the 5-star tackle continues to flirt with the idea of taking official visits to Clemson and Auburn. Holding onto a Top 20 target is never easy. That's Recruiting 101.

We need to secure a good cabin somewhere
Maybe we do, in the mountains; we do a better job of keeping ours secret. Whether we have a cabin or not, idk; but, with Fulmer and Pruitt, both of whom know how the game is played, you can bet your a** we have some kind of version of it.

Going to the game Saturday.

Having Morris and his family make the trip is quite notable considering UT will be battling AU all fall here. The Grayson standout could just as easily attend a Top 10 showdown in Atlanta with best buddies Owen Pappoe and Jakai Clark, but instead is making the drive to Charlotte to see the Vols.

definitely worthy.

All indications are that JClark and Auburn mutually parted ways. He was an add-on to attract Morris, but the feeling is Morris is strong to Tennessee.

Below from AU Rivals:

“I know Auburn will keep recruiting Wanya because it’s what you have to do. Georgia and Clemson will keep doing that too. But I feel fairly confident Wanya is locked into Tennessee. He and his mom both love Knoxville and the Tennessee coaching staff. And Wanya’s biggest reason for choosing Tennessee — commendably, in my opinion — is because he wants to be the start of the turnaround for a one-time powerhouse program. A 5-star left tackle is a pretty solid cornerstone to build that around.”
