'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

If Smith can play again, and we land Morris, we are on the way to a TVA era O Line. Antone Davis and Charles McRae time anyone????

I can't wait till we're good enough to recruit over the #7 and #11 players in the nation... must be nice
I don't know how hard UGA is recruiting Morris. For arguments sake, lets say UGA wants him, but he doesn't like the depth chart at UGA. There's nothing UGA can do about that. Tennessee is clearly a better fit for him if he wants to play early. I'm not sure exactly what is going on with Pappoe and UGA. Last I heard they were pitching him about playing the Star position. I've watched the kid for four years and a legitimate argument can be made that Star would be the best fit for him in college because of his weight. He probably can eventually get his weight up to 220 -225 in a college strength and condition program, but not in his freshman year. Since he wants to start as a freshman a good plan may be for him to start off at the Star position and as he gains weight, transition him to linebacker. Given his current listed weight, he will likely struggle as a freshman to crack the starting lineup at ILB or OLB linebacker at a lot of top programs. Regardless, Pappoe is rated .9949 and Dean .9909, but Dean is listed as the #1 ILB. Even though Nolan Smith is listed as a WDE, he will likely start off at OLB at UGA given his current weight. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone in the recruiting world who believes that freshman Pappoe beats out freshman Smith at OLB at any school. It's very common for coaching staffs to recruit players to initially play positions that differ from the position the recruit is listed at on a recruiting site. It's not a matter of recruiting over a player, as much as it is the willingness of a player to be flexible as to what position they play as a freshman.

The arrogance of Bama with Vandys trophy case. That is so very much UGA. Most annoying fan base in the nation.
Got it. You're annoyed that I'm not upset that UGA will not sign Morris, Pappoe or Watson. Even though Morris and Pappoe have indicated they are looking for early playing time. Which I consider a legitimate reason for a recruit to pick one school over another. They are better off going to Tennessee if they want early playing time. IMO, UGA will be fine with who they sign at OT in 2019. McClendon, Truss and possibly Keegan. Pappoe won't see the field at UGA; or a host of other top programs; as a freshman if he's insistent on playing OLB or ILB as a freshman. He's simply not heavy enough to take the pounding at those positions in the SEC. He routinely gets swallowed up with blocks in HS. If you were to watch entire games rather than highlight films, you would see that. In hindsight, Pappoe would probably have been better off listed as an athlete. He's a freak athlete for sure. As for Watson; UGA has a verbal commit from Daniel, and are focusing in on Stevenson and Elam. I do like how Watson has played this year though. He may end up being the best out of the three.

Not sure if I enjoyed the passive aggressiveness or the condescension more.

I’ll say it again. UGA has the most annoying fan base in the nation.

I'm sorry, you lost me at, "I don't know".

Can't wait to see JJ and OP together. JJ is our Porterhouse that's been marinating (redshirting) all season waiting to explode. Straight pit on a leash.
Rewatch the first kickoff in the second half of the UK game. JJP catches it, a few yards for a return. But it took 2 UK guys to bring him down and the pop from that collision was LOUD. JJ popped right up like nothing had happened. He is a brick house, even though he’s not ‘in shape’
