'19 GA OL Wanya Morris (Tennessee signee)

There's a reason we haven't switched our Crystal Ball to Auburn for 4-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris of Grayson (Ga.). We wanted to see how things went during his official visit to Tennessee over the weekend. We've learned from multiple sources that Morris and mother did, in fact, have a great visit. The Vols seem to not only have stopped Auburn's momentum, but gained some of their own with that trip. Late last week, Auburn was trending. Now, the Tigers again really have their work cut out it sounds like. In fact, it's no longer a sure thing Morris will officially visit Auburn this weekend. That's not to say it won't happen. We've sort of gotten some mixed responses on that one. Auburn is working hard to make sure he's back on campus. If the visit happens, battle on. And getting that last official would be huge. If not, you have to wonder. To recap, the Vols have some momentum, but it's far from over. This recruitment already has had many many twists in the past two months. My head is spinning. I'm sure yours is, too. He announces May 1.

ON MORRIS

He had a great visit to UT last weekend

The Vols may picked up a little momentum

The OV to Auburn this weekend may not happen...

Nothing is 100-percent here yet.

Been told Morris is worn out with visits/recruiting

Mom is playing a real role in this too

Both staffs feel optimistic I have been told

If he does not show up at AU this weekend, it does not mean he isn't going to AU

He has visited each school MANY times, especially the last two months

This is still a close race and could go either way
I have gone back and forth with this based on what I have been hearing...

As of today, I am hearing more UT chatter, but he is fresh off a visit too

Someone close to the four-star tackle just informed me it looks like Morris will no longer be visiting the Tigers this weekend. Obviously, Auburn will work to change this in the coming days. But right now it appears that is where things stand. Things continue to change by the day in this recruitment and we will continue to monitor it.
