Yes it did and I attribute the majority to those two. Not only did Pruitt trot JG out there every week but he also kept putting his nose in the offense where it shouldn’t have been.

Pruitt took over offensive play calling duties mid game more than once. Yeah......

I’ve said it a million times, with average QB play we beat Kentucky, Arkansas, and Auburn and w we had UGA on the ropes at halftime the rest is history after that.

Pruitt had potential to be a good HC but his arrogance and stupid decision making kept him from succeeding here.

Maybe. I think Pruitt was more prone to going for the throat than Butch. Maybe he wins 2 of those games in 2015 that we should have?

He was conservative, but tried to be aggressive. I mean when we got solid QB play out of JG we won games.

Don't think Pruitt was gonna win the SEC or anything, but I feel like he probably wins the east with Butch"s roster.

I don't know why but I feel really good about Heupel. I don't think we'll win natties but I think the program will be fun again. It hasn't been much fun since 2016 and that felt fake as it was happening.

‘16 was good until Hurd fumbled, quit and the team imploded.

Butch Jones is the Richard Nixon of Tennessee football. He had it going but his insecurities destroyed him.

Well what's confusing to me is how in the hell did Tennessee get so unlucky as to hire 4 bad coaches in a row!!!!????!!??

Kiffen: Could have been good with a decent defensive coordinator....but would have probably gotten us in trouble anyways, then bolted in the 11th hour.

Dooley: Was in waaaaayyy over his head, had a losing record in college anyways, and after the second year he knew he was in over his head. I mean, he brought out a plastic orange dog to practice as motivation. WTF.

Butch: Seemed to be going somewhat decently until the last half of 2016, then everything imploded due to him letting the inmates run the asylum. Tons of injuries when he let the players basically run the workouts. Dobbs made him look better than he was.

Pruitt: Pruitt and JG were a match made in volnation hell. The QB who couldn't sense backside pressure and stared down his receivers coupled with the defensive coach who liked to meddle in the offense. Disaster waiting to happen.

We are due a break from this vicious cycle.
