'21 GA OT Amarius Mims (Georgia commit)

I’m laughing because it said we’re still a “long way away” from Auburn though. Pruitt beat Auburn his first year and I’d argue that now we actually have enough talent to beat them anyways.
Agreed, I don’t think auburn is beyond us in any capacity. Gus would have been gone years ago, but somehow pulls an iron bowl win out his ass when he needs it.

Also a little premature, but if we land this kid who plays where? Does Wright or Morris move inside or does Mims start out at guard? This kid is too good to not start as a freshman imo.

He’s had 7 years to prove that and failed.
I’m not saying he’s in the upper echelon of current coaches, but he’s found some success in one of the toughest divisions in the NCAA with an instate rival and permanent cross division opponent that are both perennial contenders.

It’s very hard to find a coach that you know would do better in the same circumstances which is why he still has his job.

The only reason he still has a job is because we the fat cats are ready to fire him he pulls a rabbit out of his ass and beats saban.

There’s a lot of coaches that’s beat Saban but should that be the main goal every year?

My point is, his results have been average since he’s been at Auburn, it’s not like he hasn’t had any talent to work with.

There’s a reason he’s been on the hot seat a million times since he’s been there.
