I don't look at rankings so idk but he's been on the radar for a while for programs. He came in to high school big. "Rankings" early on are watch lists and go to kids with the physical traits early or at the premier schools early on. I don't blame them, that's who they see when watching other top prospects. But sites like ranking them bc people like me and you will talk about it haha
Perfectly reasonable response. Thank you.

This kid was the #14 player in the country at one point?
Allvol gave you a pretty good response already.
I’ll add to it that he was supposedly benching 400 lbs as a 14 year- old and was already huge physically.

He’s still very young, and that stiffness and not staying low that we kind of see in that clip can absolutely be improved on.

Remember Adarius Redmond out of Powell was a 5 star for his class after his true freshman season. Things always change when they’re projected so early…

Kid has amazing size and strength. Just need to work on that base and flexibility 👍

I work some with high school athletes thru the summer. It’s amazing how much lack of flexibility some of them have. Strong-yes, Cardio-yes, ask them to bend over and touch their forehead to their knees nope, or do a deep squat with their feet flat on the floor, nope.
I tell them flexibility is key to helping in transferring your strength into whatever they are doing.

Flexibility is one of the big things the work on at NPA

Don’t have to, I’ve seen it first hand.
That's what they did with Jacob Phillips and completely transformed the kids game. I remember having a conversation with Mark Duper (former Miami Dolphins WR) when I was in high school about flexibility. He said that there's plenty of strong guys in the weight room, but they're tight and can't move unless it's in a straight line. He pretty much said what you said. The more flexible you are, the more functional that strength is. He said he stopped lifting completely during the second half of his NFL career.

2026 Georgia offensive lineman Bear McWhorter has been a frequent visitor to Tennessee's campus and is expected to take in Saturday night's game in Norman as well. He camped with Tennessee over the summer and has been on campus multiple times during his recruitment. The former Arkansas commitment is coveted by several major programs.
